Shipping Policy

Products would be processed within 4-8 days and shipping will be done through reputed domestic/international courier company. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number to monitor the status of your package. If you have any concerns about the shipping process, feel free to contact us.

 

​ We are not responsible for delays resulting from unexpected delays by courier companies during the delivery of goods to customers, or if the customer is unavailable during the delivery.

 

CUSTOM DUTIES FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Please be aware that any customs duties or charges applicable to the ordered items will be invoiced separately to the customer by the courier company upon delivery.

 

REMOTE AREA SURCHARGE (RAS) FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

In accordance with the International carrier's policies, an extra surcharge may apply if the shipping address is categorized by the carrier as a remote area. This Remote Area Surcharge (RAS) will not be applied at the time of order placement; instead, you will be notified of any such surcharge before the goods are shipped. You will be required to settle the surcharge through the website in such instances. Failure to pay the surcharge within 2 days of notification will result in the cancellation of your order.

You will be responsible for any additional taxes, import duties, or customs charges incurred during this process. In such cases, you are obligated to settle these charges directly with the carrier.

Our Return Policy

We take pride in the craftsmanship of our handloom products. Every product undergoes quality checks before they are shipped. In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged or defective item, please notify us via email or Whatsapp within 1 day of receiving the product. Please note that the decision to accept returns wholly depends on the Pichakam team. Once approved, the customer should dispatch the product to our address in its original condition within three days from the date of delivery. The refund will be processed in 5-7 working days and credited to the original payment method used for placing the order.  In addition, any repetitive exchange request shall not be accepted. Products, once shipped, are only eligible for returns if the above-mentioned details are authentic and valid.

Please be aware that in rare instances, if the customer dislikes the product or changes their mind after placing an order with us, it is not eligible for cancellation, exchange, or return.
Each saree is photographed under neutral lighting to ensure that the saree appears in the same color on your screens. However, the colors may look different on different devices and screen resolutions. Any request for the return/exchange of sarees due to the alteration in color won’t be entertained/accepted.
The above mentioned policies are non-negotiable.

 

Below are the ones that we consider as Defects:

  • Tears or Rips:     
                 Visible tears or rips in the saree.

  • Incomplete Set:     
                 Missing components of a saree, such as a blouse piece.

  • Different Design/Motif unlike the one shown in the website
